The Experience

Over three days, you are invited to gather in a sacred space of reflection, renewal, and connection.

Through grounded and meaningful practices of meditation, prayer, movement, and sound, each offering is thoughtfully guided to support inner healing, clarity, and a return to the heart.

A simple morning breakfast will be offered each day. Light, nourishing refreshments will be available throughout the day to support and presence.

Our retreat takes place in a peaceful, nurturing setting in Haiku, Maui.

A limited number of on-site accommodations are available at the Golden Rose Temple. These spaces are offered on a first-come, first-reserved basis and are thoughtfully designed to support rest, reflection, and renewal.

Additional lodging options can be found nearby in Haiku and surrounding areas, including boutique inns, private cottages, and vacation rentals.

A Certified Colon Hydrotherapist, Reiki Master, longevity coach, and shamanic practitioner, Shelley integrates a compassionate and multidimensional approach to healing. Her work includes soul retrieval, Akashic Record ceremonies, and sacred practices designed to awaken greater peace, self-love, and personal empowerment.

Her work bridges personal transformation, mentoring, relational wellness, and the integration of mind, spirit, body, and emotion.

Throughout her career, Dr. Arlene has worked with individuals, couples, families, executives, students, and organizations across the private, public, academic, and nonprofit sectors. Through coaching, workshops, retreats, presentations, and personal mentoring, she has supported others in creating healthier and more fulfilling lives.

A profound turning point in her journey emerged while caring for her mother during an extended period of in-home caregiving. This experience deepened her understanding of the essential role SelfCare plays in healing, resilience, and personal well-being. Since then, her work has focused on helping others cultivate sustainable and compassionate practices for living with greater balance, connection, and vitality.

Razan

Meditation Practitioner • Spiritual Guide

Razan’s path has been shaped by a lifelong devotion to inner discovery, awakening, and the deeper mysteries of existence. Growing up in the Holy Land — a place rich in sacred history, spiritual depth, and human complexity — awakened within her an early yearning to understand the nature of life, consciousness, and humanity’s relationship to Source.

Drawn to contemplative traditions and transformative spiritual practices, Razan traveled extensively, immersing herself in meditation retreats, sacred spaces, and studies exploring consciousness, Dharma, yoga, metaphysics, and the healing potential of self-awareness. Along the way, she encountered profound teachers and experiences that deepened her commitment to the path of awakening and inner integration.

Since 2015, Razan has maintained a dedicated Vipassana meditation practice, participating in and serving numerous silent retreats around the world. Through years of disciplined inner work, she has cultivated a grounded approach to healing, presence, and conscious living. Her work is rooted in the understanding that true transformation arises through stillness, self-inquiry, and reconnecting with the wisdom already within.

Hanuman Maui

Ram Dass Loving Awareness Sanctuary

Hanuman Maui – Ram Dass Loving Awareness Sanctuary was created to honor and continue the spirit of Ram Dass through community, meditation, sacred music, and compassionate service. Formed after Ram Dass’ passing in 2019, the sanctuary preserves his home and shares his teachings through kirtan, retreats, meditation gatherings, and heart-centered outreach.

Rooted in the principles of loving awareness and seva (selfless service), Hanuman Maui also supports the Maui community through ongoing food relief efforts, providing meals each week to individuals experiencing homelessness in partnership with the Maui Food Bank.

The sanctuary remains a space devoted to healing, spiritual connection, and the cultivation of compassion, presence, and inner peace.

Bre Wolfe

Life Coach • Yoga Instructor • Author

Bre Wolfe guides transformational healing experiences through sacred movement, breathwork, sound, and ceremony. Integrating ancient healing traditions with modern mindfulness practices, her work supports emotional healing, spiritual awakening, and deeper connection to self.

Founder of Sacred Plant Medicine Yoga in Maui, Bre creates compassionate spaces for renewal and inner transformation. Her offerings are designed to help release stored trauma, restore balance to the body and mind, and cultivate greater harmony and presence.

Bre is a trained psychedelic therapist, Advanced Yoga Nidra Facilitator, Reiki practitioner, and certified professional life coach. Through her grounded and heart-centered approach, she supports others in reconnecting with their inner light and authentic path.

Dr. Karl Jacobs, Psy. D.
Reverend Rosa Paz-Jacobs

Your hosts will guide with presence and hold space with care throughout the retreat.

Karl and Rosa Jacobs are the founders and stewards of Golden RoseTemple in Haiku, Maui — a sanctuary devoted to meditation, prayer, healing, and interspiritual connection. Together, they have created a welcoming space where people from diverse backgrounds can gather in the spirit of unity, compassion, reflection, and inner transformation.

Karl is a Clinical Psychologist whose work specializes in trauma recovery, emotional healing, and spiritual integration. His path of study and devotion reaches back to the 1960s through early connections with Ram Dass, Maharaji, and Eastern contemplative traditions. Over the years, Karl and Rosa have traveled extensively throughout India and other sacred regions of the world, deepening their understanding of meditation, spirituality, and cross-cultural healing practices.

Rosa brings a devotional path rooted in contemplative prayer, the Christian mystical tradition, and the Divine Feminine. Together, their work weaves meditation, sacred sound, prayer, spiritual dialogue, and heart-centered community gatherings that honor the shared wisdom found within many traditions.

Since 2020, Karl and Rosa have hosted Interspiritual Rosary Meditations and healing gatherings at Golden Rose Temple, offering a peaceful environment for stillness, renewal, and meaningful connection. Their shared intention is to cultivate a sanctuary of loving awareness where all are welcomed.
